We thrive on three principles: Honesty, Integrity, & Reliability.

Hearing Protection

Choosing the right hearing protection for daily use is essential to protecting your hearing. That’s why our hearing aid specialists at Wise Hearing are ready to help you find the right type of protection retrofitted to your daily needs. It’s never too late to take your hearing health into your own hands, and we’re ready to help!

Hearing protection covers a variety of affordable products, ranging from earmuffs to earmolds to earplugs. Each type of hearing protection has its own set of strengths based on hearing loss severity or need for situational usage. Earmuffs are the biggest, with a one-size-fits-all design. They are easier to put on, hard to misplace and do an incredible job of blocking out noise. Industrial and professional jobs often require the use of earmuffs due to their universal use. Earplugs and earmolds are in their own category, offering advanced sound nullifying hardware and portability. Earplugs and earmolds are best suited for musicians, sporting professionals and other individuals who are exposed to high levels of noise on a daily basis.

Musicians earplugs and monitors

Being in the studio is great for creativity but can be destructive to unprotected ears. Musician's earplugs were created to protect an artist's ears without interfering in the creative process. During the mixing process, music is normalized to prevent hearing damage. This is a feature that requires no user input but can be customized to fit the needs of the wearer.
In-ear monitors serve as a replacement for wedges during live concerts. They provide portability, clear sound, and a better way to hear the music while playing. In-ear monitors have their own systems, with some brands depending on proprietary hardware and software combinations. The learning curve for in-ear monitors is high, but the customizations are endless.

Earplugs and earmolds

Earplugs are the most flexible, with custom variants being the best choice. There are earplugs for different activities, professions and hobbies. Earplugs can be swapped around as needed, with their advanced features providing one-of-a-kind protection. Earplugs are a favorite to many for their small size, making them highly portable.

When consumers think of custom earmolds, they usually have an image of a law enforcement agent. Custom earmolds are used in many other professions and are considered essential protection by many. The main two types are full-shell and half-shell, with the name explaining the level of protection to expect. Like earplugs, custom earmolds come with their own set of advanced features.

Earmolds are popular among many professions, including law enforcement and offer protection similar to earplugs. Earmolds come in two varieties, full-shell and half-shell. Full-shell earmolds cover the entire concha bowl and are used for mild to moderate hearing loss whereas half-shell earmolds cover about half of the concha bowl and are used for mild hearing loss. Like earplugs, custom earmolds come with their own set of highly customizable features to cater to your lifestyle.
